For more than twenty years I’ve been helping people to help themselves achieve better lives, first as a social worker, and since 2014 as a Registered Psychologist. Previously, I helped clients through not-for-profit agencies, Alberta Health Services, and private practice. Now, I’m excited to join Willow Psychology to work in a client-centered professional practice with other dedicated psychologists.

I’m a psychologist because I genuinely care about people. That’s why over many years of helping people, I’ve continually sought and learned numerous psychological strategies and mental health techniques. I love helping people notice unhelpful patterns in their relationships so they can replace them with helpful ones to enjoy better connections and a better life.

While working primarily with individuals, families, and couples enduring anxiety and/or depression, I use Eye Movement Desensitization Response Therapy (EMDR) and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) to help people see hurtful patterns and even struggles arising from trauma. In doing so, people achieve clarity, insight, and breakthroughs that allow their goals for a better life—not their pain—to guide them towards thriving.

Because I work from an attachment perspective, I’m aware of how the relationship I form with you affects relational patterns in therapy and in your life. That awareness helps me to ensure our conversations and activities help you reach your goals.

I’m looking forward to meeting you.
